On the ground floor is a large open plan kitchen dining area with 2 en-suite bedrooms with balconies and on the first floor is an open plan lounge area with two en-suite bedrooms with balconies. There is a TV/DVD and CD player for entertainment. The villa is furnished with traditional English furniture.
At Villa Freedom you can take a walk around the 1 acre secluded grounds with olive, walnut and almond trees, go for a swim in the 40m² tiled pool or just relax on one of the terraces or many balconies with their fantastic sea and mountain views. Behind Villa Freedom is a strangely shaped hill of Drapanokefaia, which is a National Park.
This is an ideal location for walks in the local countryside to view the famous wild Cretan flowers in the Spring or explore the local history by visiting the caves and outposts created by the German Army in World War II. Villa Freedom is located on the outskirts of the village of Kokkino Chorio. Famous for its part in the filming of "Zorba the Greek", the local taverna hosts the occasional Greek music night. This hillside village has some of the most stunning panoramic views of Souda Bay and the open sea.
