Villa Becalie, a holiday villa completed October 2008, has a relaxing ambience and contemporary décor and is situated on a large secluded plot on the Drapanokenfala Mountain overlooking the traditional village of Kokkino Chorio, Apokoronas, Chania, Crete. There is a large balcony on the first floor the full width of the property from which you can enjoy uninterrupted sea views over Souda Bay and the White Mountains. After a day relaxing by the private pool or on one of the beautiful sandy beaches within a 10 minute drive, sit back and admire the spectacular sunsets which are renowned in this area of Crete. There is a small sandy beach ideal for snorkelling 5 minutes drive from the villa which is popular with the local Greeks on a Sunday.

The ground floor of this spacious villa is open plan with a fully equipped modern kitchen including Microwave, washing machine and integrated dishwasher. The large lounge has comfortable seating and spectacular panoramic views of the Bay through the French doors. Facilities include a Flat Screen TV, DVD and CD player. On the covered balcony, the dining area comfortably seats 8 people for outdoor living. The master bedroom has its own terrace looking out onto the pool. There is also a shower room/WC on this floor.

On the upper floor there are 2 double bedrooms each containing two single beds with private access to the upstairs balcony with breath-taking sea views and a bathroom/shower room.

The 40m² pool (1m - 1.5m depth) and adjoining dining area have panoramic views of Souda Bay and the White Mountains. The villa is within walking distance of the Taverna in Kokkino Chorio’s village square near the mini market. In Almyrida (approx 5 minutes drive) you will find a variety of Tavernas, bars and shops and a sandy (Blue Flag) beach with facilities for sailing, windsurfing and kayaking. The beach is ideal for snorkelling and the harbour is great for fishing. A further 3 or 4 minutes along the coast is Kalyves, another village with Tavernas, bars and shops with another blue flag beach.
